Storytelling, especially through illustration, has always been my passion. The formation and creation of this project has been an amazing journey, and though I faced challenges and dilemmas throughout, every element of it is incredibly dear to me. In many ways The Exile Range serves as the culmination of everything I’ve worked towards in my artistic pursuits thus far. Finally being able to complete it and bring it to reality has been an incredibly emotional process for me, especially as so many elements of the story itself hold parallels to and inspirations from myself and my life.
Enough of that serious stuff though, my name is Ryn and outside of incessant frenzied art-making I enjoy sipping americanos or cinnamon orange teas, chilling with my wonderful corn snake Ophiuchus (she may or may not be a bit like my muse as well), and listening to a bit too wide a range of music genres. I take a lot of inspiration from the natural world, and enjoy early spring walks and smelling the rain.
